The Letter D

When memories disappear, who can you trust?

—

Synopsis

The Letter 'D' is a poignant exploration of Mildred's struggles with  memory loss. As this former preschool teacher wrestles with early signs  of dementia, she becomes increasingly confused and paranoid, suspecting  her loving daughters of ulterior  motives. Through a series of flashbacks, Mildred's gradual decline is  revealed, making it clear that she is losing her grip on reality and  independence. The film delicately examines family bonds, memory, and the  heart-wrenching decisions faced by loved ones  when a family member can no longer safely live on their own.
